Name note
Several other people share the name Wang Xiuying (王秀英), including an elderly Beijing petitioner, a practitioner sentenced to seven years in Inner Mongolia in 2004, and a practitioner detained in Harbin in 2000. A public-health educator of the same romanized name uses different Chinese characters (王秀瑛). This profile concerns only the Shenyang case described above.
