Wang Zhaomin (王兆敏) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province, serving a seven-year prison sentence. Police in Dashiqiao had spent about six months monitoring and tracking local practitioners’ mobile phones before a coordinated arrest operation on November 25, 2025, in which the criminal police brigade alone deployed more than twenty officers. That day, officers entered Wang’s home in Dongzhi Village, Yong’an Town, and took Wang into custody; Wang was then held at the Dashiqiao City Detention Center. After criminal detention, formal arrest, and prosecution, the Zhanqian District Court in Yingkou tried the case over two days, July 16 and 17, 2026, and on August 11, 2026 issued criminal judgment (2026) Liao 0802 Xing Chu No. 72, sentencing Wang to seven years in prison with a 40,000-yuan fine. The reported sentence term runs through November 24, 2032.
According to the case account, the group of practitioners detained in the November 2025 operation were tried together; the same judgment number covers co-defendants who received sentences ranging from one year and three months to nine years. No appeal record and no prison-admission report have been located in public sources; no fact is asserted here beyond what the dated sources below document.
