Yan Zhiqiu (闫志秋) is listed in a rights-defense monthly report dated August 31, 2026, in the report’s “sentenced to 2 years” group of 32 people, which the report classifies as political prisoners and prisoners of conscience currently in custody. Beyond that listing — name, 2-year sentence group, and the roster’s in-custody classification — no charge, arrest date, trial record, custody facility, or case history for Yan has been publicly documented.
The Chinese-language edition of the report places 闫志秋 in the 2-year list. The English edition lists “Yan Zhiqiu” in the equivalent position — the basis for the Chinese-character identification. The identification was read directly from both editions of the report; no independent biographical source confirms the characters.
Because the only available source is the roster listing itself, this profile is intentionally brief. If further reporting surfaces — a charge, a judgment, a trial record, a custody location, or family testimony — it will be added here with full sourcing.
