- 1999–2005 — repeated detentions; two-year labor-camp term from November 27, 2000; three-and-a-half-year sentence from December 23, 2005.
- September 17, 2019 — 14-day administrative detention by the Qing Tong Xia Public Security Bureau.
- October 25, 2020 — arrested by the Shapotu branch of the Zhongwei Public Security Bureau in a group detention of local practitioners; indicted April 30, 2021; tried April 18, 2023.
- May 6, 2023 — the Shapotu District Court sentences nine practitioners: Yang Jie to six years in prison and a 20,000-yuan fine; Zheng Yongxin to five years and ten months. Defense lawyers entered not-guilty pleas.
