All case facts come from a single outlet — Minghui.org, a Falun Gong-affiliated news service that has documented persecution cases since 1999. No corroborating source (court document, official procedural record, international media, or human-rights NGO report) has been located for Yang’s case specifically. The 2013 Minghui roundup notes an earlier arrest of a “Ms. Yang Lanying” in Xupu in July 2013 — plausibly the same person, but this is NOT confirmed and must not be merged into her record. Separate “Yang Lanying” cases in Kunming/Yunnan (3.5-year sentence reported 2022) and Linzhou/Henan (3-year sentence reported 2016) are different people in different provinces and must never be merged.
