Recorded that Ms. Yu Liqiu was among three practitioners sentenced to eighteen months in prison in November 2018 (a separate retrospective gives sixteen months — the discrepancy is unresolved) and taken to the Jilin Province Women’s Prison. February 19, 2025 — Minghui (English): “Six Jilin Residents Sentenced to Prison for Practicing Falun Gong”. Reported that six Dongfeng County residents — Liu Dianzhu, Dong Yufeng, Dong Yuqin, Yu Liqiu, Yu Ping, and Zhu Deyan — were each sentenced to three years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan. They had been arrested on August 8, 2024 while studying Falun Gong teachings at a private home; their homes were raided; they were held at the Liaoyuan City Detention Center and tried at the Longshan District Court. Liu Dianzhu, Dong Yufeng, and Dong Yuqin were later released on medical parole.
