Source notes and identification method

The roster’s English edition lists “Zhang Tingxiang” with no Chinese characters. The Chinese edition of the same report was read directly: its 判刑10年44人 (sentenced to 10 years, 44 people) list reads “…于波、张廷祥、张秀芝、任海飞…”, while the English edition lists “…Yu Bo, Zhang Tingxiang, Zhang Xiuzhi, Ren Haifei…” — names aligning position-for-position. This positional identification, from the report’s own two editions, is the basis for the Chinese characters.

The WOIPFG investigation notice independently identifies a Falun Gong practitioner named 张廷祥 from Guizhou sentenced to ten years in October 2021 — a multi-anchor match (name, sentence length, Falun Gong case context) with the roster entry. All case details beyond the roster listing come from that notice, which is an established monitoring organization’s dated record and is presented as its own findings.

Evidentiary limits

The roster’s political-prisoner classification is a dated source claim. WOIPFG’s language about the prosecution reflects its own characterization; the facts used here (dates, names, sentence, fine) are its recorded findings. No sentence end date, release record, or later custody information has been located. No PRC official or state-media record of this case was located in this pass.
