Zhao Huijun (赵会军)
Zhao Huijun (赵会军) is reported to be a Falun Gong practitioner from Benxi, Liaoning Province, born in 1964. According to the sources below, she was arrested on April 11, 2024, and sentenced to 3 years’ imprisonment on December 10, 2024. Rights Defense Network (维权网) lists her in its Issue 131 (August 31, 2026) among people reported as sentenced to 3 years’ imprisonment.
Identity note: The roster gives the name in romanized form only. The Chinese form 赵会军 is used here because five anchors converge: its exact positional match of “Zhao Huijun” in the Chinese edition’s roster sections — the “Sentenced to 3 years” group and the surname index — the roster’s 3-year classification matching the 3-year sentence recorded independently, a single Prisoners of Conscience record for 赵会军 with matching biographical details (born 1964, female, Benxi, Liaoning, Falun Gong practitioner, taken away April 11, 2024), and two independently located case records with matching details (the April 11, 2024 arrest by Benxi’s Gaoyu police station, the July 19, 2024 indictment to the Xihu District Court, the December 10, 2024 sentencing). The full linkage note is preserved in the media archive.

- Arrest, Benxi: On April 11, 2024, Zhao Huijun was taken by police from the Gaoyu station of the Mingshan District public security bureau while on the street. Police searched her home the same day and took computer equipment and other personal items. She was placed under criminal detention at the Benxi City Detention Center.

No public pronouncement of the verdict was made and the written judgment was not served on her lawyers or family defenders promptly; they learned of the sentence on January 17, 2025. Her defenders filed an appeal. (The sources cited below are Falun Gong-affiliated or advocacy outlets; their characterizations of the proceedings are the sources’.)
- Earlier persecution: Zhao Huijun had been imprisoned twice before for her faith — 2006–2013 and 2014–2017 — and reports describe harsh treatment during detention. Her family circumstances were described in the reporting: her husband is seriously ill and she was the family’s main support.
Not established: the prison where she is serving the current sentence; the outcome of the appeal filed in January 2025; details of the charge (listed as unknown in the Prisoners of Conscience record). No release report has been located.
