Li Yongfeng (李永峰) is a house-church preacher from Pingyang County, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. He was detained on June 26, 2025 and formally arrested in early August on suspicion of “illegal business operation,” according to ChinaAid and the Dui Hua Foundation.
ChinaAid reported that Li was taken from Kecheng People’s Hospital in Quzhou on June 26, 2025 while recovering from surgery and transferred to Pingyang Detention Center. His wife, Du Xiaoxi, and his lawyer later reported health and treatment concerns; those claims are family- and lawyer-sourced and have not been independently verified.
The reported accusation has been linked by family and monitoring organizations to the non-profit distribution or sale of Bible audio players.
