Contradictions and gaps
- Sentence end date: the CHRD record gives February 17, 2030; the Minghui archive gives March 2, 2030. Both versions are recorded.
- Arrest-year wording: one paragraph of the Minghui profile writes 2020 where the dated entries (and the CHRD record) consistently give 2022; treated as a typographical error in that paragraph.
- Charge: the Minghui archive attributes the verdict to promoting Falun Gong and producing materials; the CHRD record lists the charge as unspecified.
- Official record: no PRC court document or state-media report on the case found publicly. No consular relevance (no foreign ties reported).
- Name collision: the live FreeChina.live pages for “Zhang Yuxiang / 张玉祥” (Jiangsu democracy activist, 1990s–2000s) are a different person and must not be merged with this case.
