Case timeline from the sources. On September 7, 2019, eight Falun Gong practitioners in Taiyuan were seized by police in a coordinated operation and their homes searched. Zhao Jinzhong, whose household registration is in Taiyuan’s Wanbailin District, was among them; his home was searched and his personal belongings largely taken. He was subsequently sentenced to ten years in prison with a fine and is held in Jinzhong Prison in Shanxi; the CHRD Prisoners of Conscience database gives his term as ending September 6, 2029.
