This archive preserves the documented source record for Li Qun (李群, Wenshan Yunnan), also reported as Li Qin (李琴), of Yanshan county, Wenshan prefecture, Yunnan province, a Falun Gong practitioner reported in January 2023 to have been sentenced to six years in prison — her fourth prison term. It does not cover the different person 李群 of Kunming, a male member of the Century New City Church detained in April 2026 without sentence, who is documented separately.
Case chronology (as documented by the case report)
- 2004: Sentenced to four years; released May 22, 2008, then dismissed from her telecom-bureau job.
- April 2009: Sentenced to five years; served in the Yunnan No. 2 Women’s Prison.
- Around the 2018 New Year: Sentenced to four years following a 2017 detention.
- Late 2021: Taken into custody by Wenshan city domestic-security police.
- January 2023: It is learned that she has been sentenced to six years; the term is reported as ending in December 2027.
- August 31, 2026: The Rights Defense Network (维权网) monthly roster places a 李群 in its six-year-sentence group, consistent with the case above.

- Employer variance: the Chinese editions say 电信局 (telecom bureau); the English edition says “Power Bureau” — the Chinese original is followed.
- Term arithmetic: a 6-year term reported ending December 2027 following a late-2021 detention is presented as reported, not reconciled.
- This archive covers the Wenshan Falun Gong practitioner only; the Kunming house-church 李群 (male, detained April 2026) is a different person and is not merged here.
