Detained repeatedly after July 20, 1999; sent to a re-education-through-labor camp for three years in 2002; sentenced to four years in 2010; held at the Wanjia labor camp (万家劳教所) and Heilongjiang Women’s Prison (黑龙江省女子监狱), where the record says she suffered torture. The torture account has no independent corroboration.

- 2026-08-31 — Rights Defense Network / 维权网, Issue 131 monthly report (Chinese and English editions). Lists 陈继环 / “Chen Jihuan” in the in-custody “判刑3年10个月，6人” group. The roster classifies its entries as political prisoners and prisoners of conscience currently in custody (dated source claim).

Conflicts and caveats
- The charge for the 2026 three-year-ten-month sentence is unknown in every located source (tenchu explicitly 未知).
- The birth year (1954), residence, practicing-since-1998 claim, and the 2002 and 2010 custodial history appear only in the tenchu record, with no official-document or second-source corroboration; graded PROBABLE for the custodial facts, UNSUPPORTED beyond the database for the rest.
- The sentence-end value (2029-06-17) is a database value only. Present whereabouts beyond the dated Issue 131 roster are unconfirmed; the Person body asserts no present status beyond the dated sources.
- The Wanjia labor camp and Heilongjiang Women’s Prison mistreatment accounts appear only in the database’s compiled narrative; no independent corroboration was located, and the Person body does not present them as established fact.
