Hao Guangping (郝广萍), a female Falun Gong practitioner from Jinan, Shandong Province, has been detained repeatedly by police in Jinan’s Shizhong District over a period of more than fifteen years — including a forced seizure on April 3, 2003, and a home arrest on May 25, 2018, that led to a ten-day detention. The case
In March 2003, Ms. Hao wrote and mailed accounts of her experiences to two local authorities — the Jinan City Legal Training Center and an official of the street-level Political and Judiciary Committee. On April 3, 2003, staff from the Jinan City Telecommunication Residential Committee lured her to the committee office, where police officers from the Silicun Police Precinct, including one named Zhao Hongsheng, took her away by force. The May 2003 report stated that her whereabouts were unknown at the time.
On the morning of May 25, 2018, officers from the Silicun Police Station in Shizhong District arrested Ms. Hao at her home and ransacked it. She was held in the Zhonggong Detention Center for ten days.

According to reports from Minghui.org, Ms. Hao practiced Falun Gong before 1999. After the nationwide suppression began in July 1999, she was taken to a brainwashing center and pressured into renouncing her beliefs, and she was fined 100,000 yuan.
