Media Profile & Archive — Huang Shaopu (黄邵溥)

This archive preserves the source basis, identification method, and evidentiary limits behind the Person profile. See the full Person profile: Huang Shaopu (黄邵溥).

Identification method

Three independent anchors tie the roster entry to the case record. (1) The exact Chinese name 黄邵溥 appears both in the Rights Defense Network’s Issue 131 report (August 31, 2026) — positionally resolved in its four-year-sentence group (判刑4年,171人) between 杨秀花 and 王建, matching the English edition’s “Huang Shaopu” in the same position — and in the CHRD Prisoners of Conscience database, where the record’s 姓名 is exactly 黄邵溥 and its English name field reads “Huang Shaopu.” (2) The sentence anchor matches: the roster classifies her in the sentenced-to-four-years group; the case record gives a four-year sentence. (3) The case record is unique — a targeted re-query of the database on October 10, 2026 returned exactly one row for this name. A Taiwan politician named 黃紹庭 is a different person with different characters and must not be confused with her.

Source chronology

  • 1997 — Huang begins practicing Falun Gong (case record).
  • 1999–2004 — Multiple detentions after July 1999; a 2001 trial before the Jiamusi Qianjin court ends in a three-year sentence served at the Heilongjiang Women’s Prison; release in 2004. Years follow without household registration or identity documents (Minghui dossier).
  • September 15, 2023 — Police take Huang at her home; she is held at the Jiamusi detention center.
  • October 23, 2023 — The Jiamusi Xiangyang district procuratorate approves formal arrest.
  • October 11, 2024 — The Xiangyang district court tries the case.
  • November 7, 2024 — Four-year sentence plus 20,000-yuan fine reported (Minghui); sentence term to September 14, 2027 (case record).
  • March 21, 2025 — A public second-instance hearing before the Jiamusi intermediate court, where she maintains her innocence.

Source grading

  • Minghui library victim dossier (library.minghui.org/victim/i83761.htm) — Falun Gong-affiliated media. Read in full October 10, 2026. Carries the detailed case chronology, including dates of arrest, trial, sentencing, appeal, and prison transfer, plus family accounts of alleged mistreatment and procedural violations. Community/advocacy source: treat its factual account as single-source reporting rather than independently verified fact.
  • CHRD Prisoners of Conscience database record (tenchu.org) — rights-monitoring database. Live re-queried October 10, 2026; one row. Independently anchors the key facts: name 黄邵溥 / Huang Shaopu, female, born October 1974, Jiamusi, the 2023 taking, the Xiangyang district court trial, the four-year sentence for 利用邪教组织破坏法律实施罪, and the term ending September 14, 2027. Corroborates the Minghui dossier on all key anchors.
  • Issue 131 monthly report (Rights Defense Network / 维权网, August 31, 2026) — the roster source; basis for the Chinese-character identification and the four-year classification. Verified by direct reading of both Chinese and English editions in a prior research pass.

Conflicts and caveats

  • No court record, verdict document, or official procedural notice was located. All sentencing detail is reported, not independently verified against official records.
  • Allegations of torture, procedural violations, and the household-registration dispute are reported only by the Minghui dossier and must remain attributed to it.
  • Web searches beyond these sources returned no person-specific reporting; the absence of other coverage is a limit on corroboration, not evidence that events did not occur.
  • The Minghui dossier page’s internal article links were noted but not all opened; the dossier itself is the verified source.
