Minghui reports that Li was arrested April 25, 2025, indicted July 25, tried September 10, and sentenced to six years with a 30,000-yuan fine. The outlet also reports that her sister Li Yumei was briefly detained and later hospitalized. No official court judgment was located.
February 2026
Minghui reported that Li was admitted to Hohhot First Women’s Prison in early February 2026.
Identity and evidence limits
The Chinese name 李玉芬 is supported by Minghui and a 2025 WOIPFG notice. The appeal outcome is unknown. The prepared evidence base is dominated by Falun Gong-affiliated sources; no PRC official, court, or state-media record was located. This record must not be merged with Li Yufang (李玉芳) of Shandong.
