Li Yufen (李玉芬), 63 at the time of 2025 reporting, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. She was sentenced in September 2025 to six years in prison and a 30,000-yuan fine, according to Minghui.
Minghui reports that Li was arrested on April 25, 2025 while shopping with her older sister, Li Yumei, and was later held at the Baling Left Banner Detention Center. The outlet says the Baling Left Banner Procuratorate indicted her on July 25 and that she was tried on September 10, 2025. These arrest, search, medical-examination, and procedural details remain source-attributed.
The same reporting describes a much longer history of detention connected to her Falun Gong practice, including two forced-labor terms and earlier prison sentences. These historical details are based on Falun Gong-affiliated sources and have not been independently verified through official records.
On February 15, 2026, Minghui reported that Li had been admitted to Hohhot First Women’s Prison in early February. Her appeal outcome has not been located.
