Person profile: Liang Yening (梁业宁)
This archive preserves the reporting record for the 2022–2023 Shijiazhuang case of Liang Yening.
January 2022 — arrest and detention
Minghui reports Liang’s January 23, 2022 arrest with her husband Zhang Linyu, temporary detention at a hotel in Yuanshi County, and her March 16 transfer to criminal detention at the Shijiazhuang Second Detention Center.
February–July 2023 — trial and sentence
Minghui reported a February 24, 2023 hearing at the Qiaoxi District Court and a July 12 sentence of six years plus a 5,000-yuan fine. The report states that Liang appealed.
February 2024 — detention-center report
A Minghui article discussing conditions at the Shijiazhuang Second Detention Center named Liang but also said her location was unclear at the time. Its generalized abuse allegations therefore cannot be attributed to Liang personally.
Identity record and collision control
Minghui’s September 2023 sentencing table pairs 梁业宁 with “Liang Yening,” Hebei/Shijiazhuang, a six-year sentence and 5,000-yuan fine.
Amnesty International documented a different male “Liang Yening (Yeling)” in Shijiazhuang who was detained in 1999 and sentenced in 2000. That person is retained only as a do-not-merge record and is not part of this archive’s case chronology.
Evidence limits
The present case narrative comes from Minghui. No court judgment, official indictment, appeal decision, or current prison assignment was located. Exact current location remains unverified despite the August 2026 roster listing.
