Liu Ling (刘玲) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Huangchuan County, Henan Province. Minghui reported her as 50 years old in December 2022.
According to Minghui, Liu was arrested on June 14, 2022 while distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. The outlet reports that police confiscated Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, four laptops, four printers, 140 discs, and 20,000 yuan in cash.
Minghui reports that Liu was taken to Xinyang City No. 1 Detention Center the following day. Her family later learned that she had been sentenced to nine years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan; the December 14, 2022 report says they received that information on November 25.
Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists 刘玲 in its nine-year-sentence group.
