November 14, 2023 — Minghui (English): “Zhengzhou City, Henan Province: Ten Falun Gong Practitioners Sentenced to One to Eight Years.” Reports that ten Zhengzhou residents aged 42 to 85 were sentenced on September 27, 2023: Ms. Zhao Shuniu, 57, and Ms. Su Jinling, 74, each received eight years and an 80,000-yuan fine — the heaviest sentences in the group. The ten were arrested by the Jinshui District Police Department between October 2021 and February 2022; the Xinzheng Court heard their cases on July 19, 2023, barring family members from the hearing. Ms. Su was arrested at home in November 2021 after surveillance video linked her to Ms. Zhao; her home was ransacked; she had previously served two years of forced labor between 2001 and 2003.
2025 — The Dui Hua Foundation, “Prisoner Updates 2025 #1”: Reports that Su Jinling (苏锦玲), an elderly woman in her 70s, was granted medical parole in November 2024.
