2007
A May 2007 Minghui/Clearwisdom report said Xi had been arrested on February 24, 2007 in Kangbao County. It alleged serious mistreatment during detention. Minghui’s later 2026 account states that this case resulted in a four-year prison sentence.
July–October 2025
Minghui reported that Xi was arrested on July 8, 2025 while traveling in Shangdu County, Inner Mongolia. It reported searches of his and his mother’s homes on July 15 and his transfer to Jining Detention Center on July 24. A later report said the case reached the Shangdu County Procuratorate and that Xi was indicted on October 29.
December 2025–February 2026
According to Minghui, Xi appeared in the Shangdu County Court on December 15, 2025 and was sentenced in early February 2026 to four years and six months.
